Animals on the Bus
Only guide and service dogs are allowed on board our express buses. Express buses do not have separate transport space suitable for animals, and the consideration of fellow passengers must therefore take precedence.
Guide and service dogs allowed on the bus
- Guide dogs for the blind, visually impaired, and deaf
- Service dogs in service/training with a service harness
- Police service dogs accompanied by police officers in uniform
- Rescue dogs in service or in training with a service harness
Guide dogs, service dogs, and assistance dogs in service or training, identifiable with a vest and/or written documentation, travel for free. Beyond this, unfortunately, other animals are not allowed on board our buses.
It is not safe to transport animals in the luggage compartment of the bus as it is not equipped for it in terms of light, heat, ventilation, and supervision.
We refer to the national transportation regulations § 11 first sentence, and the Circular N-2/2016 from the Ministry of Transport.
